Fuel & Bunkering in SVG

SVG offers duty-free marine diesel and gas oil to qualifying yachts. Use a licensed agent to arrange delivery and paperwork.

Where to bunker

• Glossy Bay Marina, Canouan — alongside fuel for superyachts up to around 60m+, the most efficient option in the southern Grenadines.
• Wallilabou and Blue Lagoon, St Vincent — alongside fuel for smaller vessels.
• Kingstown, St Vincent — for larger yachts needing duty-free fuel or bigger quantities. Book berthing in advance as cruise ships and container-port docks can be busy.
• Clifton, Union Island — fuel dock for mid-size yachts; arrange a slot in advance.
• Truck-to-dock by appointment — available at Bequia and Union when alongside isn't practical.

How to arrange

Send us the vessel's registration, expected uplift volume and ETA at least 48 hours ahead. We will confirm price per litre on the day (it moves with world prices), reserve the slot and meet you on the dock with paperwork.

Duty-free eligibility

Foreign-flagged yachts in transit qualify. The yacht must be cleared in, the captain must sign for the uplift and the fuel must be entered into the yacht's logbook. We handle the customs side.

Other fluids

Lubricants, hydraulic oil and AdBlue can be sourced through the same agent network with 48–72 hours notice.

Before the uplift

• Confirm the yacht is cleared in and the clearance covers the bunkering port
• Send registration, tonnage, expected volume and ETA at least 48 hours ahead
• Agree who signs for the uplift and where the receipt goes
• Ask for a sample to be retained if you take a large quantity

Common delays

Arriving without a booked slot, an expired clearance, or a volume that does not match what the depot has allocated. All three are avoidable with one message the day before.
