SVG Yacht Services Ltd. is the data controller for information collected through this website, our enquiry forms, newsletters and connected business social accounts. This page explains how to request deletion of that information.

1. What data we hold from Meta platforms

When an authorised member of staff connects SVG Yacht Services to Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn for business publishing, we store only the information needed to operate that connection:

Facebook Page ID and Page name;
Instagram Business account ID and username;
granted permissions and token expiry information;
server-side access tokens, held encrypted and never displayed publicly.

We do not download or store follower lists, private messages, friend/connection lists, advertising audiences, or personal profile data from visitors who interact with our pages.

2. How to request deletion of your data

Email us at info@svgyachtservices.com with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Please include:

the email address, phone number or social account you used to contact us;
a description of the information or connection you want removed; and
any reference that helps us identify the request (vessel name, approximate date, service requested).

Do not send passwords or access tokens in your email. We will acknowledge your request, take reasonable steps to verify your identity, and explain if a legal, contractual, security or record-keeping requirement prevents immediate deletion.

3. What we delete and when

Connected social accounts: we revoke tokens and remove stored Page/account identifiers and encrypted tokens as soon as you ask, or automatically when staff disconnect the account in Admin → Social.
Enquiries and marketing details: we delete or anonymise these within 30 days of a verified request, unless we need to keep them for accounting, maritime, customs, legal or dispute-resolution purposes.
Published posts: records that a post was published at a particular time may be kept as an anonymised operational log. We do not keep the social platform’s internal audience or engagement data.

4. Disconnect through Facebook / Instagram directly

You can also remove SVG Yacht Services from your own Meta account settings:

Go to Facebook Settings → Business Integrations or the Instagram app → Settings → Security → Apps and websites.
Find “SVGYS” or “SVG Yacht Services” and select Remove/Delete.
Confirm that you want to remove the connection.

This stops the app from accessing your account in future, but it does not delete information already held by SVG Yacht Services. Use the email process above if you also want us to delete information we hold.

5. Contact and response time

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 48 hours and complete verified deletion within 30 days. If we need more information, we will let you know.
