SVG Yacht Services Ltd. is a yacht agency based at Port Elizabeth, Bequia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, VC0400. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SVG Yacht Services Ltd.

2. Information we collect

Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:

• your name, email address, telephone or WhatsApp number;
• vessel name, requested service, estimated arrival date and enquiry details;
• crew, guest, travel, clearance, provisioning and logistics information supplied for agency work;
• newsletter subscriptions and your communication preferences;
• staff-account details and activity where an authorised user accesses our staff or crew systems;
• payment-reference details, yacht or client name, invoice amount and payment status;
• website usage information such as pages viewed, interactions, device/browser information, IP address and standard server logs; and
• business-page and account information returned by Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn when an authorised member of staff connects an account for publishing.

We do not ask you to send card details through this website. Card payments are completed with our payment provider.

3. How and why we use information

We use personal information to:

• answer enquiries and provide requested yacht agency, transfer, provisioning and related services;
• coordinate with authorities, suppliers, contractors and other parties needed to complete an instruction;
• prepare invoices, payment links, operational records and service communications;
• operate secure staff areas and administer our website and business social accounts;
• send occasional updates where you have subscribed, with an unsubscribe option in each marketing email;
• measure website performance, maintain security, prevent misuse and improve our services; and
• meet legal, regulatory, accounting and record-keeping obligations.

We process information where it is necessary to take steps at your request or perform a contract, where we have a legitimate business interest that does not override your rights, where the law requires it, or where you have given consent. You may withdraw marketing consent at any time.

4. Who receives information

We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to deliver or support the requested service. Recipients may include customs, immigration, port and maritime authorities; marinas and mooring providers; transport, provisioning, technical and other suppliers instructed for your visit; professional advisers; and providers that host our website, database, authentication, email, analytics and payment services.

Payments may be processed by Fygaro and its banking/payment partners. Messages sent through WhatsApp and interactions on Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn are also subject to those providers’ privacy terms. We do not sell personal information.

5. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn

Our authorised staff may connect SVG Yacht Services business accounts to publish approved content. The connection may provide account identifiers, Page/account names, granted permissions, access tokens and expiry information. Tokens are held server-side and used only to operate the requested business-account connection and publishing tools. They are not displayed publicly.

We may see information you choose to make available when you message, mention, follow or interact with our pages. The social platform separately controls information it collects about your use of its service. We do not use connected-platform data to build advertising profiles or sell it to third parties.

6. Cookies, local storage and analytics

Essential browser storage or cookies may be used to keep authorised users signed in and protect account sessions. We also use internal event measurement and may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site use. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although secure account features may then stop working.

7. Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose collected, to maintain appropriate service, financial and operational records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Enquiries that do not lead to work are reviewed periodically. Contract, transaction and clearance records may need to be kept longer where required for accounting, maritime, customs or legal purposes. Marketing details are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them. Social-access tokens are deleted when the connection is removed.

8. Security and international transfers

We use access controls, authenticated staff areas and server-side secret storage, and limit access to people who need information for their work. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Some technology providers or service partners may process information outside St Vincent and the Grenadines; where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements that protect the information.

9. Your choices and rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask for access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion or restriction, object to certain uses, or withdraw consent. We may need to verify your identity and may retain limited information where the law or an active contractual obligation requires it.

11. Children

Our services are intended for yacht owners, guests, captains, crew, suppliers and other business users. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children through this website.
