Website material is general information and may change without notice. Conditions affecting immigration, customs, clearance, weather, anchorages, ports, transport and suppliers can change quickly. Confirm current requirements with our team before relying on information for an arrival, passage or booking.
3. Requests and bookings
Sending an enquiry does not create a booking. An instruction is accepted when we confirm it in writing or begin work at your request. The person instructing us confirms that they are authorised to act for the owner, charterer, vessel, guest or other client concerned and that the information supplied is accurate and complete.
4. Agency and third-party services
Some services are supplied by us directly; others are arranged as yacht agent through independent marinas, carriers, technicians, divers, riggers, provisioners, transfer operators and other contractors. Their own availability and terms may apply. We will use reasonable care when coordinating providers but do not control a third party’s acts, omissions, schedules or facilities.
5. Client responsibilities
- Provide complete and timely vessel, crew, guest, document, itinerary and contact information.
- Check names, dates, quantities, specifications, dietary requirements and delivery instructions.
- Maintain safe access to the yacht and disclose hazards or operational restrictions.
- Comply with applicable immigration, customs, port, environmental and maritime requirements.
- Notify us promptly of cancellations, schedule changes or inaccurate information.
6. Prices, expenses and payment
Fees, supplier costs, taxes, duties, disbursements, cancellation charges and payment deadlines will be shown in a quotation, rates sheet, confirmation or invoice where applicable. Estimates may change if the scope, timing, exchange rate, supplier price or official charge changes. We may request an advance before committing funds or confirming third-party services. Card payments are handled through the payment provider shown on our secure payments page.
7. Cancellations and changes
Tell us as early as possible about any change. Charges already incurred, non-refundable supplier costs and reasonable work completed remain payable. A supplier’s cancellation terms may also apply. Weather, official restrictions, transport disruption and other events outside reasonable control may require an alternative arrangement without creating liability for delay or cancellation beyond amounts recoverable from the supplier.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of charter, profit, opportunity or enjoyment, or for loss caused by inaccurate client information, a third-party supplier, official action, weather or an event outside our reasonable control. Clients remain responsible for appropriate vessel, travel, medical and cancellation insurance.
9. Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, this website’s branding, text, layouts and original materials belong to SVG Yacht Services Ltd. They may not be reproduced commercially without written permission. Third-party marks and media remain the property of their respective owners.
10. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, submit unlawful or misleading content, or interfere with the website or another user’s access. Links to external services are provided for convenience and do not make us responsible for those services or their content.
