Blue Lagoon and Young Island Cut form the south-coast hub of St Vincent. Argyle International (SVU) is 25 minutes by road — the natural choice for crew change and arriving guests.

• Port of entry with after-hours capability
• Marina is suitable for tenders only, or yachts to about 45/50ft
• Few large moorings in Young Island Cut anchorage
• Anchor NE of Young Island
• Closest deep-water base to SVU

Weather & seasonal notes

• December–February northerly swells can make Young Island Cut uncomfortable — expect roll, consider a stern anchor or move round to Calliaqua
• Blue Lagoon dock can be rolly in the same period; inside the lagoon stays protected
• Steady ENE trades year round; the Cut funnels breeze, so tender crossings get choppy in the afternoon
• Hurricane season (June–November): the Blue Lagoon inner basin is the sheltered option on the south coast
• Best guest-transfer windows are in the morning, before the afternoon trades build
